TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

The below sections set out the basis of the full agreement between you, the client, and Emily: Autism & Me, and therefore it is essential that you read these fully. Should you have any queries please contact me before accepting. This contract is governed by the law of England and Wales. By proceeding to book and paying the booking fee, you are accepting these terms and they will be incorporated into your agreement.

Payment Terms & Bookings

The amount is due one month (4 weeks) after your training session has taken place.

Late payments will incur additional fees as per the statutory interest rate for business to business transactions.

Booking & Cancellations

Bookings for training sessions require a minimum of three weeks’ notice, dependent on specific requirements.

Changes to these notice periods are at the director’s discretion.

Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and sessions can not be held without confirmation. Confirmation of your chosen session must be made by email.

Should you wish to cancel all / part of your booking, charges will be added to your account as follows:

i) Cancellation 7 days or earlier from the date of training session = no charge.

ii) Cancellation within 7 days of the training session = cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the total cost of the booking.

Should the client wish to cancel their booking at any stage written notice must be given either to emilyautism@outlook.com. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation, and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt therefore the client is advised to check that the cancellation has been received.

In the unlikely event that Emily: Autism & Me need to amend or cancel a booking, they will notify you at the earliest opportunity and do everything possible to arrange a new date to your satisfaction. Different fees, terms and conditions may apply. Emily: Autism & Me reserve the right, if necessary, to cancel a booking without any liability, however in this eventuality a full refund would be offered.

Travel

Emily; Autism & Me is able to travel to you for in-person bookings. A travel surcharge is applicable to all in-person events. Please inform Emily: Autism & Me of any difficult to find venues / postcodes to ensure they are not delayed in reaching you which could reduce the time allocated to your booked session. If entry to the venue is difficult and/or includes long walks / long flights of stairs this must be advised when booking.

Access

Online training sessions will be delivered on Zoom, all participants must be on mute unless speaking to reduce background noise, inform Emily: Autism and Me on numbers of attendees and their role, for meetings hosted by the client an agenda must be sent in advance.

For in-person training sessions details on how to get to the venue, what to do upon arrival, who will meet Emily: Autism and Me will need to be provided.

Any access requirements will need to have been confirmed a minimum of one week before the booking takes place or Emily: Autism and Me reserves the right to cancel the booking. In this instance 50% of the fee will be payable.
